If you’re into shooting—whether as a hobby or for serious practice—Phoenix Rifle Club is definitely worth checking out. I’ve had a great experience here, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-run, safe, and welcoming range. The facilities are excellent, with well-maintained lanes and a good variety of shooting distances. Whether you're into long-range precision shooting or just want to improve your aim, there’s plenty of space to practice. One thing that really stands out is the staff. The team here has knowledge, friendly, and always willing to help, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned shooter. If you’re new, they’ll make sure you feel comfortable and guide you through everything. And if you're looking for some serious training, their instructors really know their stuff.

We had a good experience: The room was clean and well-maintained. The projector/TV screen, speakers, and other equipment worked perfectly. The seating was comfortable, and the room size was appropriate for the group. The room was quiet and free from external noise. The booking process was smooth and hassle-free.

Fantastic place, I went in as a complete novice 2 months ago having only ever using air rifles as a hobby in my garden. They made me feel very welcome and the team are incredibly knowledgeable. If you are seriously interested in shooting this is the place to come. If you're interested in getting an air gun I highly recommend VOG gun rooms in St Athan also.

A warm friendly atmosphere catering for all experience levels of members. Being indoor the weather does not impact on the range experience. The 200m range is ideal for zeroing your rifle.

I spend as much time as I can down this club. I love to shoot. We have 5 guns on the licence and get lots of help from others as some members have been shooting all their lives. We are a small friendly club and welcome new members. You can pop down have a look and shoot for a small fee to cover insurance and ammo. As a female I am treated well and given lots of advice. And we have a few other ladies as members. So if you fancy some fun pop down and join in
