Do I need a firearms licence to shoot at Phoenix Rifle Club?

Visitors using full-bore rifles require the appropriate UK firearms licensing (FAC). Mini Rifle sessions may be available to family members, guests, or supervised newcomers under club guidance.

Can beginners join the club?

Yes. Phoenix Rifle Club welcomes beginners through a supervised probationary membership structure.

What makes tunnel shooting different?

The Tunnel provides stable indoor shooting conditions without changing wind affecting rifle accuracy.

What calibres are supported?

The range supports rimfire and centrefire calibres up to .338 Lapua Magnum and downloaded .50 BMG, subject to Range Officer approval.

Is the range open year-round?

Yes. The indoor tunnel environment allows shooting activity throughout the year rather than being restricted to limited outdoor range days.
